Winter League Results: 16th February - 2nd March 2013

The group stages of this year's Winter League drew to conclusion today.

The deciding fixture in Group A as to who would progress to the Semi-Final draw, was between Gordon/Brian W v Dorian/Dan. Disaster struck Brian on the 3rd tee when he dislocated his shoulder driving off. Poor Brian was in a great deal of pain - thankfully Dorian was able to help relocate it within a couple of minutes. The match was abandoned, and we returned to the clubhouse until Brian was able to head off to the hospital. Brian has since confirmed that the joint is OK - he is in a sling for the next few days and will see a specialist next week - hopefully it won't require surgery. We hope it heals quickly Brian and that we'll see you back on the course soon.

The final group standings are below. Congratulations to Pete and Alex who are the Group A winners. Dorian and I progress as group Runners-Up.
